How places are offered

2027 arrangements: priority to those "with a PESE (11+) score of at least 40 points higher than the KCC threshold score". School FAQ example: "if the Kent Test threshold was 332, Skinners' minimum entry requirement would be 372".

Up to 140 West Kent Area places (within 3 miles plus named parishes): up to 16 Pupil Premium places ranked by score, then up to 108 for boys 40+ points above the threshold, ranked by sibling, staff child, then distance. Up to 16 Governors' Places go to the highest scorers in the named parishes not otherwise offered. Up to 20 Outer Area places use the same +40 rule. If too few reach +40, places fall back to other grammar-assessed boys by distance.

A higher Kent Test score gives priority for a place here.
